CINEMA AT THE EDGE: Long GOODBYE TO SCREEN IN SANTA MONICA ON NOV 4, 2018

I am thrilled to announce that LONG GOODBYE has been selected in yet another festival to round out a very successful year. On Sunday November 4, 2018 we will be screening at Cinema at The Edge Film Festival (CATE) in sunny Santa Monica, California.

Tell all your friends in LA to come and check us out at Cinema At The Edge, a lively film festival with four days of screenings, parties and artist programs to celebrate independent filmmaking. It’s also hosted during the same time, and in the same neighborhood as the American Film Market, a marketplace where filmmakers and distributors convene from around the world to buy and sell films. All around, it’s a terrific time for LONG GOODBYE to be screening in Los Angeles.

About LONG Goodbye

With Brooklyn as the backdrop, “Nevermind Goodbye” tells the story of Avery and Matthew. Two strangers who find comfort in a fantasy relationship with each other. Too deep in their delusion to talk to one another, they both struggle to realize relationships with other people, only to find that reality can’t overcome the fantasy. When reality and fantasy collide, they are both forced to confront their demons. This is a modern coming of age story about two people learning how to grow up, long after adulthood. LONG GOODBYE WINS AUDIENCE CHOICE AT THE ART OF BROOKLYN FILM FESTIVAL

Wow, what an incredible night we had at the Art of Brooklyn Film Festival (AoBFF) on June 10.

Not only did LONG GOODBYE close the festival with a huge audience but we also took home the award trophy for Audience Choice.

When your Brooklyn shot and set indie movie wins the audience choice award at the only international, independent festival in the world devoted to Brooklyn’s vibrant film and media scene, it’s pinch yourself moment.

A big thank you to everyone who came to see our film in the pouring Brooklyn rain and voted. You gave our cast & crew all the feels.

Having our first screening in New York gave us a great reason to get our cast and crew together again, so after the screening we headed over to Circa Brewing Co. in downtown Brooklyn to celebrate our award win over pizza and beer. See Long Goodbye at the Art of Brooklyn Film Festival on June 10

I am thrilled to announce that "Long Goodbye" has been selected in the Art of Brooklyn Film Festival (AoBFF) and is closing the festival with a bang on June 10.

This is a special one for us because AoBFF is the only international, independent festival in the world devoted to Brooklyn’s vibrant film and media scene, of which Long Goodbye is part of.

The film has strong connections to the borough: I finished the script for Long Goodbye while living in Brooklyn, pulled together a predominantly Brooklyn-based cast and crew, and shot the film in and around the borough at some of my favorite spots such as The Anchored Inn, Molasses Bookstore, Mirror Tea House, and Angry Wades.
